Rachel Eales - Death Notice

William and Rachel Eales were members of the Willson's Party of 1820 Settlers. They departed aboard the 'La Belle Alliance' from Downs on 12 February 1820, after being icebound in the River Thames for a month. They arrived at Table Bay on 2 May, and Simon's Bay on 5 May, and Algoa Bay, Cape Colony at the end of May 1820.
