George Pavlich

George obtained a PhD (Sociology) degree in 1992 from the University of British Columbia. He is a professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and works in the fields of Criminology Theory and Culture, with research interests in Socio-legal Studies, Criminological Theory, Governance, Restorative Justice, and Social Theory. He is also the Associate Chair of Graduate Studies.
